European Contest

A final frivolous note!

The Eurovision Song Contest is an annual competition held among active member countries of the European Broadcasting Union .
Each country participates via one of their national television stations, whose task it is to select a singer and a song to represent their country in the international competition.
The Contest has been broadcast every year since its inauguration in 1956 and is one of the longest-running television programmes in the world. It is also one of the most-watched non-sporting events in the world.

More information on the subject.

This is an example of European culture. Isn't it?

Most of the Spanish people, after a exhaustive analysis of the different candidates, have decided that this brilliant singer is gonna be the representative of Spain in Eurovision 2008. There is no doubt about the fantastic ability, wonderful voice, good looking and excellent performance of Rodolfo and his Chiki chiki. Apart from his inborn qualities to please anybodies' ears and his gift to delight all the senses, he is charming and handsome, sensitive and open-minded, funny and friendly... He's just a fallen star.

However, this year's rivals are further better than the previous ones. So it would be a hard-fought, specially between Russia and Spain. The northern artist has won twice the International Wonders Price and has achieved lots of supporters all around the world. She's called Icy, better known as the cold heart of Russia, the rose among roses, Laia Volwskove.

Anyway, I am absolutely sure about Rodolfo's success and I know that he won't let us down. Rodolfo needs your warmth and backing, don't forget it.
